Here’s a story about why you should take advantage of your early morning yoga practice. It’s complicated. It’s not a “here’s a tip” or “here’s a trick” blog or a “here’s why” blog. It’s a story about how and why I started doing yoga in the mornings.

As the title says, I love yoga, but I don’t love the early hours we get to practice it. It’s just too damn early to be in touch with my body in a yin and yang like way, and I’ve been trying to find ways to add yoga into my morning routine without having to get up so early. That’s why I’ve gathered 5 reasons why I love yoga in the early morning.

If you’re like most people, you tend to be in bed by 11 p.m. or midnight. You get into bed, read a few sentences and then before you know it, it’s 4 a.m. and you’re wide awake again. The problem is, you’re in bed an extra hour or so, and you’re not getting enough sleep. If you’re not getting enough sleep, if you’re waking up in the middle of the night, you’re going to have a hard time focusing on your day. It’s not only frustrating, but it’s going to wear you down as well.. Read more about yoga first thing in the morning reddit and let us know what you think.

These Ashtangis have found something. I totally understand if it’s particularly painful for you to get on the mat at 5am, but there really is something special about doing the exercise first thing in the morning.

Yoga is magical and healing, no matter what time of day you practice it. This article is not meant to discourage you from exercising if you can’t in the morning.

I’d like to describe some of the many benefits of morning exercise to get you excited to try it – you never know, it could become your new favorite activity! Here are 5 reasons why I recommend yoga in the morning.

1. You will know if what you ate yesterday was good for you.

This is my favorite reason to do yoga in the morning.

While you sleep, your body is sorting and digesting everything you ate the night before. When you wake up in the morning, most of the nutrients have already been digested and sorted, and most of what you ate yesterday has already passed through your digestive system.

This means that if you feel energized and stable during your morning workout, you know that what you ate yesterday was good for your body. On the other hand, if you’re suffering from flatulence, bloating, lack of energy or stamina – then you know exactly what you ate yesterday didn’t help.

It’s one of the best tools I know of to tap into your body’s nutritional wisdom.

2. Promotes better sleep habits.

If you make it a habit to get up early in the morning and exercise first, you will be much more likely to make bedtime a priority.

When you know you can hit the snooze button, it can be tempting to watch an extra episode on Netflix. But when the thought of a sleep study comes to mind, you might think twice about not skimping on sleep.

It seems to me that knowing that you need to get up in the morning to exercise has a positive effect on prioritizing adequate sleep. We all know how important sleep is to our health. Your morning workout will help you get the rest you need.

3. He adjusts the breathing for the day.

Starting the day with asana means starting the day with breath awareness. If you do this first thing in the morning, you’ll likely pay attention to your breathing for the rest of the day.

You may have a million things to do, but if you set the tone with your morning exercise, you’ll be better able to tune into your breathing throughout the day. It is said that the slower and deeper you breathe, the longer you live.

4. He sets the spiritual tone.

I don’t know about you, but my mind becomes more stable and calm after practicing. If you start your day by calming your body and mind with asana, you are more likely to remain calm throughout the day.

It also means that when you step out of your calm state of mind, you are more likely to notice the contrast and be able to reconnect with your zen. If you set the tone in the morning, you will be less likely to be overwhelmed by the wave of thoughts that the day usually starts with.

Starting a mindfulness course can lead to spending an entire day in mindfulness.

5. It promotes health throughout the day.

After doing this exercise, you will probably feel good about yourself. You will be more in harmony and more connected to your body and mind.

This means starting your day with an awareness of how you feel and how you want to feel. As a result, you are more likely to make healthy choices when eating, sleeping, thinking and talking because you are setting the tone at the beginning of your day.

Personally, I noticed a significant difference in my posture after I started doing yoga in the morning. When I realize I’ve taken the time to take care of myself in such a wonderful way, I want to continue that trend for the rest of the day.

And finally, practicing in the morning, when it’s still quiet in the house, makes me feel like my mat time is something sacred. I feel that communicating with my body, breath, mind and spirit in the early hours of the day gives my day a special note.

I noticed that I was having much deeper meditations, and that I could really work on my mental chatter first thing in the morning. So, uh… do you think you’re ready to try a morning workout?
