The Arizona Department of Health Services is partnering with Safer Mom to offer free wellness classes to at-risk women in June. The partnership is designed to educate women on the importance of healthy lifestyle choices. “We know that pregnant and breastfeeding women are at a higher risk for obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and other health conditions,” said Health Services Director Will Humble. “We want to build healthy habits in these women to prevent these illnesses.”
