I’ve been trying to find a low carb friendly dessert to satisfy my sweet tooth, and I think I might have just found it!

Under the right conditions, chocolate can be keto-friendly, and with a little creativity and a healthy dose of patience, you can make keto desserts that will have your family begging for more.
The ketogenic diet is a high-fat, low-carbohydrate diet that forces the body to burn fat for fuel. When you eat too much carbohydrate and too few of the right kinds of fats, your body produces glucose as a backup energy source instead of using the fat you eat.

This dish is one of my favorites since it fulfills my sweet appetite without being too sugary. It contains exactly the perfect amount of Swerve sweetness and ChocZero chips’ wonderful chocolate taste. By the way, since these baking chips are sweetened with keto-friendly monk fruit, they are tasty and contain no additional sugar.
How to make a deliciously rich chocolate mousse

Keto Chocolate Mousse

A light, but sinfully delicious chocolate mousse is made with whipped cream and sugar-free chocolate chips.
Combine the cream, Swerve sweetener, and vanilla extract in a large mixing basin (optional). Set aside for 5 minutes after beating with a hand mixer until soft peaks form.
Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a small microwave-safe bowl in 15 second intervals until completely melted. It took me just 30 seconds!
Slowly pour the melted chocolate into the whipped cream and gently push it through until it is well combined.
Refrigerate for an hour or two before serving in sealed serving cups or bowls.
If desired, top with chocolate shavings and serve.
